About

Claire Stovall is a graduate student at Auburn University pursing a Master of Consumer and Design Science. Her research focuses on the consumer behavior, sustainability, and product development. Previously, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Textile and Fashion Design and certificates in Graphic Design and Entrepreneurship.

She is a researcher and fashion & textile designer who enjoys the process of discovery. Whether it is a new technique, medium, or skill, she creates work that teaches her something along the way. Inspired by her love for nature, her creative process is driven by natural experimentation and sustainable innovation with a focus on textiles, embellishments, cyanotypes, natural dyes, and organic materials. She combines textile manipulation techniques and natural dyeing methods with garment construction to create innovative designs. Claire hopes that through her work she can inspire others to find the natural beauty in one's environment, try new things, and take creative risks.

This website displays her passion for design and demonstrates her proficiency in Adobe Creative Space, Clo3D, PointCarre, and ProCreate. It also depicts her hand skills in marker and watercolor illustration, garment construction, printmaking, and fabric dying.
